Levi's Vintage Clothing 1947 501XX Selvedge Denim Rigid

In 1947, Levi's updated their flagship 501 jean in accordance with the times. Gone were the suspender buttons and back cinch, and thanks to advancements in manufacturing, every arcuate could now be stitched by machine in a uniform fashion.

This pair from LVC faithfully reproduces the 501 from 1947. Two rear pockets with hidden rivets, branded button fly, and belt loops. Mid rise and straight leg, although narrower than the 1933 model.

Made using midweight organic cotton selvedge denim. This textile is in rigid, loomstate condition, meaning it will shrink roughly two inches in length when washed. Shrink-to-fit, in other words! Measurements are "pre-wash."
